Independently Tested
We are confident with our products. We want to make sure you are too. Our plywood are independently tested by Setsco for ES EN 310 Bending Strength Test, ASTM D 1037 Shearing Test and AS 2754.1 : 1985 Bonding Quality Test. Plywood strength and bonding is adhered to the highest standards of manufacturing.
Sustainable Resources
Our wood sources are either FSC or PEFC certified. Certified wood comes from responsibly managed forests, so is renewable. It is also reusable, and requires less energy to recycle than other materials. By buying our products, you are enforcing stringent requirements on environmentally responsible procurement practices.

Perfect Combination
Our mission is to create a film faced plywood that can produce the most cost efficiency pour per use. We have researched and tested over 20 different combination of materials and proud to present you the perfect film faced plywood with lowest cost per pour.
Quality Checks
We conduct stringent quality checks on every batch of our plywood. Plywood are randomly selected, cut and checked for thickness, moisture level, water boiling tests, density...etc to give you ease of mind that the product delivered is of high quality.

FACTORY
01. Veneers selection
Veneers are purchased from sawmills and transported to the factory for further selection. The moisture levels are measured and recorded manually.

02. Veneers drying
Natural veneers typically have a moisture content of 35-45%. By utilizing hot press machines to dry the veneers to 0% moisture, consistent and strong bonding with the glue is ensured, and warping of the end product is eliminated.
The layered plywood boards are then sent for hot pressing to permanently solidify the product structure.

03. Veneers laying
After being evenly coated with water-resistant glue, veneers are arranged in layers with each layer's wood grain oriented perpendicularly to the previous one. This arrangement ensures the plywood's shear strength and elasticity.

04. Cold pressing
Cold pressing establishes the product structure before the permanent hot pressing process.
05. Hot pressing

06. Surface treatment
The surface is inspected, and a specially formulated wood putty is applied for treatment.
07. Sanding & cutting
The core plywood is sent for sanding to smooth the surface. The edges are then trimmed to prepare the surface for film coating.

08. Film lamination
Plywood is laminated with phenolic film paper to ensure easy release and allow for multiple uses during concrete pouring.
09. Edge treatment
The edges of the board are sealed with wood putty and then spray painted to enhance moisture resistance and durability.

10. Quality Inspection
The plywood undergoes thorough inspections for surface thickness, smoothness, and a boiling water test. Any pieces that do not meet the standards are rejected.
11. Packing
High-quality plywood boards are packed, bundled and prepared for delivery

Guidelines for maintenance
We recommend the following guidelines to extend the reusability of plywood panels. Number of reuses will vary based on the specific application, service conditions, form maintenance and handling, and the quality of form release.

After cutting the panel, apply an acrylic-based water-resistant paint to the edges to prevent swelling caused by moisture.

When removing the shuttering, ensure the plywood panels are neither dropped nor dragged on the ground.

Apply a light coat of a high-quality oil-based form release agent before each concrete pour.

Properly stack and store the plywood panels on a sheltered and even surface both before and after use.

Inspect your plywood panels after each concrete pour and clean off any concrete residue. Avoid reusing severely damaged panels. Panels with light damage can be repurposed for making extensions.

Seal all holes drilled during installation with silicone adhesive to prevent swelling from moisture.
